About me
I am attorney with forty years of legal experience who does consumer bankruptcy work and small to mid-sized Chapter 11 cases. I recently won an appeal in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, In re DiBattista. I have represented Ms. Teresa Giudice, from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and her Chapter 7 Trustee in their legal malpractice case against her former bankruptcy attorney. I have successfully reorganized small businesses and negotiated settlements with administrative agencies and taxing authorities. I have taught Consumer Bankruptcy Law at the Masters Program at St. John's University School of Law and was an Associate Professor of Law at New York Law School. I write a Consumer Bankruptcy Law column for the New York Law Journal. I have written and spoken extensively concerning bankruptcy and corporate reorganization law.
