About me
The Honorable Magdalena Reyes Bordeaux is a bankruptcy judge for the Central
District of California, Riverside Division.
Prior to her appointment, she managed Public Counsel’s Debtor Assistance Project
and was an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School. She was also an elected member
of the 9 th Circuit Conference Executive Committee and an Executive Board Member of
California Lawyers Association Business Law Section. She has written numerous
articles on bankruptcy issues, and she is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy and bankruptcy
related issues. She is a graduate of UCLA School of Law, where she received her J.D
and was the managing editor of the UCLA Journal of Law & Technology.
