About me
Larry D. Simons is the managing attorney of Janus Law, with offices in Riverside and the San Fernando Valley. Mr.
Simons’ represents all parties before the bankruptcy court, including debtors, creditors and trustees.
Larry was appointed to the panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the Riverside Division in the Central District of California
and has been serving in that capacity since 2011.
Larry served as President of the Inland Empire Bankruptcy Forum in 2023 and has been selected as a Super Lawyer
in 2012-2013, 2015-2017, 2020-2025.
He is certified as a specialist in Bankruptcy Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization since
2004 and was previously chair for the Bankruptcy Law Advisory Commission.
Larry served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Arthur M. Greenwald, (dec.) United States Bankruptcy Judge, Central
District of California and the Hon. Kathleen Thompson (ret.), United States Bankruptcy Judge, Central District of
California.
He received his B.A. from CSU Northridge and his J.D. from Pacific McGeorge School of Law. He is currently a part
time lecturer in the Business Law Department at CSU Northridge.
